Codefollows
branding for an IT-company
About project
2023
All brand assets are original and created for the actual client. The brand name and logo have been minimally altered (‘CodeFollows’ instead of the original name) in line with NDA requirements. The logo design remains intentionally close to the original to preserve the authentic visual identity.
The client is a company specializing in the development of websites, mobile applications, and software solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. The main goal was to create a modern, expressive logo that emphasizes technical expertise while conveying the company's friendly tone.
Challenge
Initially, the client was guided by the style of the Coffee Fellows logo, which uses the founder's face as the main element of the identity. However, the idea of a personalized image (the face of a fictional or real programmer) did not resonate with the client: he did not want to associate the brand with his own appearance or a specific person. After several iterations with portrait concepts, it became clear that a more universal solution was needed.
Stages of work
  1. Logo design
  2. Creation of a logo book
  3. Style for social media
  4. Design of printed materials
  5. Templates for presentations
  6. Video presentation of the brand
  7. Development of brand patterns
  8. Design of email templates
  9. Design of merchandise/souvenirs
More than 10 different concepts were developed before the final solution was found. The result was a geometric logo composition: massive letters “CODE” built on sharp cuts and clean lines that create associations with the precision and structure of programming. Special emphasis is placed on the letter “C”, which is highlighted in color — this symbol can exist as a standalone logo for icons, avatars, or favicons.
